School Concert Videography
Video Essentials has been a leading producer of video services since 1992, specialising in school concerts, dance concerts and graduation ceremonies.
We shoot on two cameras and use a live edit system to ensure everyone on stage is seen and a high quality picture/sound product is produced.
We offer two options for recording your production. The first is a flat fee of $1,200 (total includes GST), you will receive a link to an MP4 video of the performance that can be shared with whomever you choose, so they can download their own copy to keep forever.
The second option is for productions featuring over 300 performers. We don’t charge any fee to the school, instead the video is sold with a secret code sent to members of the school. They can buy DVDs through order forms sent out in advance, or an MP4 video download from our website store, available at any time after the recording. And not only does the school not pay a cent, we offer cashback of $5 for every sale over 50.
When filming a school concert you only get one chance to get it right. Experience is everything. When the lights go out, you need a highly specialised skill set and a clear plan. There’s no “Take Two.”

Our Rates at a Glance
Package One
You pay a flat fee for an MP4 video link which can be forwarded/download an unlimted number of times.
You receive a link to an MP4 video file of the concert that can be emailed to EVERY family. They can then download their own copy to keep.
To cover your payment you could add a fee to the concert levy, include it in the seat price, hold a fund raiser, etc.
Package Two
People purchase a DVD or download an MP4 video.
We provide your school with an order form for DVDs and information on how to download an MP4 video from our website store.
Your school receives $5 cashback for every sale in excess of 50 for EACH concert recorded.
A school code is provided for security so not just anyone can buy the video, only those the school sends the code to.
DVDs are $30.
MP4 downloads are $26.
